The advantage of having a standardized way of providing that information (along with a LOT more info) is that tools can be built to strip this information out for documentation, or in some cases, a better user experience for the developer.</description>

		<description>You are not the only who have been hoping for this kind of thing. I have been defining a stylesheets main colours at the top of my stylesheets for some while. I sometimes also define link colours, background colours, blockquotes etc. &lt;br /&gt;Even though I&#039;m for the most part the only working on the css files, it just makes it so much faster to do a find/replace when you want to change colours or other elements.</description>
