All i can say is IT’S ABOUT TIME. I mean seriously, other developers have been making microformats that integrate with Windows products, and they’re not Microsoft Developers. Hopefully we’ll see Microsoft step up their game now that they’re seeing other companies blow them out of the water (google) as the web increasingly offers everything that any application offers. Soon i’m sure, all data will be all microformat and web format based, and all OS’s will aim to revolve more around web based apps. I’m sure google will be the first to cross that line fully

Thanks for the comment Chris! What’s so great about Microformats is how simple they are to use, and yet how much power they can provide. Now with several excellent tools available, it becomes so much easier to be able to demonstrate their usefulness.

I couldn’t agree more. Microformats are another great web technology, and having Microsoft finally starting to show some support for it will hopefully encourage designers to start taking a strong look at the benefits of Microformats and hopefully start using them. I don’t use them as much as I should, but I keep trying to implement them as much as possible.
